The inspiration for my jewelry draws from the artisan work currently being created in Mexico and South America. This style of wire wrapping is a modern adaptation of the ancient filigree style of metalworking and jewelry making. My evolution as a jewelry maker and metalworker has progressed in large part due to the influence of the local artists in Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru that I have worked with. Through working with these local artists, I have been boosted to the point where I am now able to create. Now it is a matter of continuing to implement and innovate. This jewelry was created in the pursuit of bringing something into the physical that you can connect with, that can fluidly incorporate into your identity, and empowers you as a human being.

To keep these pieces of jewelry out in the world on all the beautiful people I am offering a 15% discount redeemable on your next purchase. To obtain the code, simply email (ezzebaa@gmail.com) me after your purchase. This code can be applied on my website or at Boom Gallery. I am also attempting to document these pieces and the home that they go to. If you feel comfortable I encourage you to photograph yourself wearing your new piece(s) of jewelry and tag my Instagram @EzrahBartone.

These pendants were all completely handmade starting with bare German Nickel Silver and copper wire. The pendants feature stones and wire that were purchased in person in both Arequipa, Peru and Mazatlán, Mexico from the people who mined them, cut them, and polished them.

There is a variety of stones featured in the pendants ranging from Chrysocolla, various forms of Obsidian, Peruvian Turquoise, Serpentine, Jade, Rose Quartz, Stromatolite, Rose Opal, and Onyx.

I choose to work with German Nickel Silver (copper, nickel, and zinc) and copper because they are more environmentally-friendly alternatives to Sterling Silver and Gold.
